Welcome to Intrepidy Center for Counselling and Theraputic Services.
Intrepidy was established in 2002 to provide specialist clinitcian services to the local Gippsland community. We have a team of experienced clinitcians who are commited to finding the right treatment and support for you.
When it came to choosing a name for our new business, we wanted to choose something that would symbolise the spirit of our work with our clients. The word intrepidity caught our attention with its meaning including the concepts of confidence, determination, courage and assurance. We felt that these are the qualities that clients who come to us possess, as they take up the challenge to tackle problems and make changes for the better in their lives. Intrepidity then became Intrepidy (it's easier to get your tongue around).
At Intrepidy we are a caring group of professionals who provide a welcoming environment which is safe, confidential, inclusive and non-judgemental. Our aim is to empower clients on their life journey – Whatever that may be!

Our practitioners are commited to providing our community with the highest quality of psychological care. We believe we can achieve this by working closely with our community and other local community services. Practitioners at Intrepidy attend regular training and professional supervision, in line with the requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) , to ensure they are able to provide the most effective treatment for you.
